The Lahaina Bypass 30 years in the making

Update: Construction will begin in January following the completion of an environmental assessment. According to plan, the bypass will include a new route that will avoid two archaeological sites. Representatives of Mayor Charmaine Tavares and Rep. Angus McKelvey said the two supported the new alignment.
