Gala for the New West Maui Hospital

The much awaited West Maui Hospital and Medical Center is throwing a gala celebration on the 4th of July. After ten years of lobbying on the part of West Maui residents, you can bet that the development of this hospital is an exciting event. West Maui residents will have much closer access to medical care when it is complete.
Not only had the distance been a concern for West Maui residents, but the knowledge that Maui's existing medical facilities could not accommodate everyone who needed medical attention in the case of a natural disaster has also motivated many members of the community to pull hard for this facility.
At www.westmauihospital.org/ you can find several forms on the gala, including the informational flier, registration form, and the door prize donation form. The West Maui Improvement Foundation (WMIF) is a non-profit community group led by its president, Joseph Pluta. The WMIF has worked consistently to raise support for this hospital over the last 10 years. Their efforts should be deeply appreciated by everyone who has been in favor of the establishment of this hospital.
The Hospital's gala will be held at David Paul's Island Grill. If you are 21 and over, you can enjoy the Martini bar, food stations, door prizes, hors d'oeurves and even a firework show. This gala should not be missed by those involved in the West Maui community, and looks to be a lot of fun.
If you have been interested in looking for a home in Kaanapali, or alternatively, a home in Lahaina, but were concerned with proximity to health care, you may want to keep your eye on this promising project. Remember, if you have any questions not answered on our website, you can call (800) 367-5632 or email us at info@whalersrealty.com. We would love to assist you. Mahalo!
